1 / 14The ZZKD BR-17M-3 is a high-temperature laboratory muffle furnace built for sintering, melting, and analysis of metals, ceramics, and other compound materials. It reaches a maximum temperature of 1700°C (rated for under two hours) with a continuous working temperature of 1600°C.
The chamber measures 150 × 150 × 150 mm (approximately 3 L) and is heated by MoSi2 elements. Temperature is regulated through a programmable PID controller with multiple segments, allowing defined heating, dwell, and cooling stages.
The furnace is intended for use in university, research, and industrial laboratories that require high working temperatures with tight temperature control.
MoSi2 heating elements raise the chamber to the set temperature, while a B-type (Pt-Rh) thermocouple housed in a 99.7% purity alumina tube provides feedback to the PID controller. The programmable controller manages heating rate, dwell times, and cooling, and an over-temperature alarm and door power cut-off support unattended operation.
