1 / 18The Swiben R-10100 is an industrial-scale rotary evaporator built around a 100L evaporating flask and a 50L receiving flask. It uses GG-17 borosilicate glassware on a stainless steel frame and is rated as explosion-proof for use with flammable solvents.
The unit pairs a motorized rotation drive (0–110 rpm) with a large heated bath that controls temperature from 0 to 300°C at ±1°C accuracy. A K-type sensor with digital readout shows bath temperature, and a 180 mm motorized lift raises and lowers the flask.
This machine is intended for extraction and processing labs that need high-throughput solvent recovery and concentration beyond the capacity of bench-scale rotavaps.
The evaporating flask rotates within a heated bath while a vacuum (rated to 0.098 MPa) lowers the boiling point of the solvent. The thin film created by rotation increases the evaporation surface, and vapor passes to the condenser and collects in the 50L receiving flask. Bath temperature is set and monitored through the K-type sensor digital display.
