1 / 13The MTST RE-2002 is a large-scale rotary evaporator built around a 20L evaporating flask and a 10L receiving flask. It pairs motorized rotation with a heated bath and a vertical double condenser to evaporate and recover solvents from liquid samples.
Wetted components are made from borosilicate 3.3 glass and PTFE for chemical resistance, and the unit uses a PTFE sealing system to support vacuum operation. A motorized or hoist-assisted bath lift simplifies raising and lowering the flask during a run.
The RE-2002 is suited to processing and extraction labs that need higher-volume evaporation than benchtop units provide, with digital control of rotation speed and bath temperature.
The evaporating flask rotates within a heated bath while the system is held under vacuum, lowering the boiling point of the solvent. Vapor rises into the vertical double condenser, where it cools and condenses, then collects in the receiving flask for recovery.
