1 / 14The MTST RE2000B is a 2L rotary evaporator built for solvent removal, concentration, and purification tasks in a processing lab. It pairs a rotating 2L evaporating flask (29# conical ground joint) with a 1L ball-joint collection flask and a double-reflux integrated condenser made of high borosilicate glass.
The unit uses a motorized automatic lift to raise and lower the heated bath over a 0–140 mm range, and a digital display for rotation speed up to 120 r/min. The bath is rated at 1.5 kW with temperature control from room temperature to 180°C and an accuracy of ±1°C.
Flask sizes are configurable from 0.25L to 2L, making the system suitable for labs that handle a range of batch volumes during distillation and solvent recovery work.
The evaporating flask rotates while partially submerged in the heated bath, spreading a thin film of liquid across the flask wall to maximize evaporation surface area. Under vacuum (rated to 0.098 MPa), solvent vapor passes to the double-reflux condenser, where it cools, condenses, and collects in the receiving flask. A discharge valve at the base of the collection flask allows recovered solvent to be drained.
