1 / 14The MTST RE-201D is a benchtop rotary evaporator built for solvent recovery, concentration, and separation work. It pairs a 1L evaporating flask with a 1L receiving flask and uses high borosilicate glassware throughout.
A brushless motor drives the rotating flask with stepless speed control from 0 to 120 rpm, while a barrel-shaped stainless steel bath provides heating up to a 0-99°C control range (250°C panel scale) with ±1°C accuracy. The heating bath lifts vertically over a 0-150 mm range to raise and lower the flask.
The unit is suited to chemistry, pharmaceutical, and academic research labs handling heat-sensitive materials. It operates on 110V/60Hz, with a 220V version listed as optional.
The evaporating flask rotates under heating and reduced pressure, spreading the sample into a thin film across the flask wall to increase surface area for evaporation. Vapor passes to the condenser and is collected in the receiving flask, recovering solvent while concentrating the remaining material. The system can reach a vacuum below 133 Pa.
