A 40 W stepless-regulation motor drives rotation from 0 to 120 rpm, while a 1.5 kW heating bath supports a controlled temperature range of 0–99 °C (up to 250 °C reported). Manual lifting raises and lowers the flask assembly over a 0–150 mm range.
The unit is suited to chemical, pharmaceutical, and academic or research labs that need reliable concentration and solvent recovery, including some reflux extraction applications. It runs on a 110V US supply.
The evaporating flask rotates under heat in the bath while the system is held under reduced pressure. Rotation spreads the sample into a thin film for efficient evaporation; the vapor then passes to a condenser where the solvent is condensed and collected in the receiving flask.
