Model: RE-5299
MTST RE-5299 rotary evaporator with a 2L evaporating flask, electric lifting, digital speed control, and a heated water/oil bath for solvent recovery.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The MTST RE-5299 is a rotary evaporator built around a 2L evaporating flask (0.25L–2L options) and a 1L receiving flask (0.25L–1L options). It uses a heated water or oil bath together with a rotating, vacuum-assisted flask to evaporate solvents at reduced temperatures.
The unit features electric lifting with a 0–150mm travel range, a digital display for rotation speed from 0 to 120 r/min, and a 1.5 kW bath with ±1°C temperature accuracy. Glassware is high borosilicate, and sealing uses PTFE and fluoro rubber components.
It is intended for extraction and processing labs that need controlled solvent recovery, such as recovering ethanol following winterization or crude processing.
The sample flask rotates while partially immersed in a heated bath. Under vacuum (rated to 0.098 MPa), the solvent's boiling point is lowered so it evaporates at reduced temperature, then passes through the double-reflux integrated condenser and collects in the receiving flask.
