The ZZKD SS-W8L-304S is a production-scale spray dryer constructed from SS304 stainless steel for food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade processing. It is designed to convert liquid feed into dry powder at batch sizes beyond benchtop or R&D units.
The system uses a high-speed centrifugal atomizing disk and an electrically heated drying chamber with PID temperature regulation. An embedded intelligent control system with a touch screen manages temperature, air speed, feeding, and cleaning functions.
It suits facilities running commercial powder production, including water-soluble extract powders and spray-dried or encapsulated formulations.
Liquid feed is delivered by a peristaltic pump to a stainless steel atomizing disk that spins at up to 42,000 rpm, breaking the feed into fine droplets. The droplets meet heated inlet air, which evaporates the solvent and produces a dry powder. Inlet air temperature is controlled by PID regulation, and an air-hammer vibration system helps reduce buildup on the tower wall.
