Two-stage oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump rated 2 CFM at 110V, with a 250W motor and gas ballast for solvent vapor handling.
This equipment is sold for lawful use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
The MTST 2XZ-1 is a two-stage, direct-connection rotary vane vacuum pump built for general laboratory pumping duties. It is an oil-sealed displacement pump with an oil-sealed outlet valve and an inlet valve that functions as a vacuum safety valve, remaining open during operation.
With a 250W motor on 110V and a rated flow of about 2 CFM, the pump provides vacuum down to 6×10^-2 Pa with the gas ballast closed (1.33 Pa with it open). The compact 460×125×256 mm body weighs 15 kg and operates at roughly 60 dB.
It suits labs needing a portable backing or roughing pump for drying, filtration, and similar tasks. It can also serve as a fore-pump for booster, diffusion, molecular, or titanium pumps. It is not intended for use as a compression-type transfer pump.
The pump uses a spring-loaded rotary vane mechanism running at 1400 r/min within an oil-sealed chamber. Two stages in series draw gas through the inlet and discharge it through the oil-sealed outlet valve, while the gas ballast feature allows venting of solvent vapors to reduce condensation in the oil.
