1 / 10The ZZKD SPD-10L is a short path distillation system built for separating and purifying compounds under reduced pressure. Short path distillation moves vapor a short distance from the boiling flask to the condensing section, which allows operation at lower temperatures than atmospheric boiling points and reduces material loss along the apparatus.
The system is constructed from high borosilicate glass and includes a 10L digital heating mantle, a two-neck boiling flask, a vacuum-jacketed distillation head, a cow receiver, and a cold trap. With an evaporation rate above 3 L/h and a vacuum capability of 0.098 MPa, it is suited to processing labs that work with heat-sensitive materials.
It is intended for laboratory and extraction operators who need controlled, low-temperature distillation with included glassware and support hardware.
The 10L boiling flask is heated by a digital electric mantle while the system is held under vacuum. Under reduced pressure, the target compound vaporizes at a lower temperature and travels a short path through the vacuum-jacketed distillation head, where the vapor condenses and collects in the cow receiver. A cold trap protects the vacuum line by capturing residual vapors.
