The MTST SPDS-10L is a short-path distillation system built around a 10L distillation flask and a 1L pear-shaped receiving flask. It is constructed from high borosilicate glass and uses electric heating rated at 1600W with a maximum heating temperature of 350°C.
The unit runs on a 110V 60Hz supply and includes integrated stirring at 0.08 kW. It is intended for laboratory and mid-scale processing workflows that separate and refine compounds under reduced pressure.
To build a complete setup, the system can be paired with a vacuum pump and recirculating chiller to support the rated vacuum level of 0.098 MPa.
Short-path distillation heats the feed material in the distillation flask while operating under vacuum to lower boiling points. Vapor travels a short distance to a cooled condensing path and collects in the receiving flask, separating components by their volatility.
