The system includes a 20L digital heating mantle, a 20L two-neck boiling flask with an 80mm main flange and 24/40 side joint, a short path distillation head, a cow receiver, and a 5000ml receiving flask with a 29/40 joint. A cold trap, cast iron stands, three-finger clamps, and Keck clips are included for assembly.
It is intended for laboratory separation and purification work where a benchtop short path setup is appropriate.
The boiling flask is heated by the digital mantle across a range from room temperature to 380°C with ±1°C control accuracy. Vapor travels a short distance through the distillation head, where it condenses and is directed by the cow receiver into the collection flask. Operation under vacuum (rated to 0.098 MPa) lowers boiling points, and the cold trap captures volatile material before it reaches downstream equipment.
