The still is manually operated and floor-standing, with a digital thermometer and pressure safety valve mounted on the top cover for monitoring during a run. It is intended for users who want a benchtop-scale botanical distillation setup that can be heated with common external heat sources.
The pot bottom measures 28.5 cm in diameter, so any induction cooker or electric ceramic stove used with it should provide a heating area of at least that size for even heating.
Plant material and water are placed in the sealed stainless steel pot and heated by an external induction cooker, electric ceramic stove, or gas stove. Rising vapor passes through the copper-mesh distillation column and a crescent-shaped connecting pipe into the condensation tower, where it cools back to liquid and is collected through the stainless steel nozzle.
