The MTST BM-100 is a wiped film molecular distillation system (WFE) built for continuous processing of crude extract at facility scale. It uses a 100 mm main evaporator with an effective evaporation area of 0.15 m² and a feed rate of 2–8 kg/h.
The system operates across a wide temperature range of -90 to 220 °C and runs at speeds up to 450 r/min, with a 2 L feed tank and a 2 L collecting bottle. It is intended for licensed labs and processors that need continuous distillation rather than batch operation.
The 120 W motor drive supports the wiper mechanism, and the unit can be configured for 220V or 110V supply.
Wiped film distillation uses mechanical wipers to spread feed material into a thin, uniform film across a heated evaporator surface under deep vacuum. Lighter fractions evaporate from the film and condense for collection, while heavier residue is separated, allowing continuous throughput.
