The MTST KDGDB-2/12 is a plate and frame filter press built for fine filtration of liquids. With a 2L capacity and 12 plates, it provides increased filtration surface area in a compact footprint compared with single-stage filtration setups.
The shell and eyebolts are constructed from stainless steel 304 with a mechanical and electrolytic polished finish for solvent compatibility. It is suited to processing labs handling extract filtration after winterization, where the removal of particulates, waxes, and sediment is required.
The unit accepts flange, tri-clamp, and threaded inlet/outlet connections, and supports a range of O-ring materials including EPDM, PTFE, Viton, and silicone to match process fluids.
Liquid is forced through a stack of 12 plates that present a large combined filtration area. Particulates and solids are retained on the plate media while filtered liquid passes through, allowing higher throughput than a single-stage funnel for comparable volumes.
