1 / 17The MTST S-100L is a 100-liter double-layer (jacketed) glass reactor built from GG17 high-borosilicate glass and mounted on a 304 stainless steel frame. The inner vessel holds the reaction medium while the outer jacket circulates a heat-transfer fluid, allowing the contents to be heated or cooled by an external source.
The reactor supports stirred reactions under normal or reduced pressure, with reflux and distillation possible depending on the configured glassware. Material is discharged through a bottom PTFE valve, and the wide vessel mouth simplifies cleaning and access.
It is intended for synthesis, pilot-scale work, and production in fine chemical, materials, and related laboratory settings.
The reaction medium is held in the inner glass layer and agitated by a motor-driven stirrer. A heat-transfer fluid such as hot oil, hot water, or a coolant is circulated through the surrounding jacket to set and hold the process temperature. Reactions can be run at atmospheric or negative pressure, and finished material is drained from the bottom discharge valve.
