1 / 15The MTST SF-100L is a double-layer (jacketed) glass reactor built for stirred reactions at controlled temperatures. The inner chamber holds the reaction medium while a separate jacket circulates a heating or cooling fluid such as hot water, hot oil, or a refrigerant, allowing the process temperature to be held constant during the reaction.
The vessel is made from GG17 high-borosilicate glass and is supported by a 304 stainless steel frame. Available capacities range from 10L to 100L, making it suitable for both pilot-scale and production work in fine chemical synthesis, bio-pharmaceutical processing, and new-material development.
Reactions can run under normal pressure or under vacuum, and the configuration supports reflux and distillation. Finished material discharges from a bottom valve, and the wide vessel mouth simplifies cleaning and access.
A temperature-control fluid circulates through the outer jacket to heat or cool the inner reaction chamber while the stirrer mixes the contents. The closed glass vessel can operate at atmospheric or reduced pressure, supporting reflux and distillation, and the completed reaction product is drained through the bottom discharge valve.
