The EXS-100L is a 100-liter double-layer (jacketed) glass reactor built for stirred reactions under constant-temperature conditions. The inner chamber holds the reaction medium, while the surrounding jacket circulates a heat-transfer fluid so the contents can be heated or cooled depending on the source used.
The vessel is made from GG17 high-borosilicate glass for chemical and thermal resistance. A large mouth opening simplifies loading and cleaning, and a PTFE bottom discharge valve allows solid or liquid material to be drained from the kettle base. The unit is mounted on a 304 stainless steel frame.
It is intended for synthesis, pilot, and small production work in chemical, materials, and laboratory settings where controlled stirring and temperature regulation are required.
A heat-transfer fluid such as hot oil, hot water, or a refrigerant is circulated through the glass jacket to heat or cool the contents of the inner vessel. Inside the sealed chamber, the explosion-proof gear motor drives stirring while the reaction proceeds at normal or reduced pressure. Reaction solutions can be refluxed or distilled, and completed material is released through the bottom PTFE discharge valve.
