1 / 11The ZZKD 10L single-layer glass reactor is a stirred reaction vessel built around a high-borosilicate glass kettle supported by a stainless steel (304) frame. It is intended for controlled-temperature reactions in chemical, pharmaceutical, and materials research settings.
Reactions can be run under normal or negative pressure inside the closed glass vessel, with reflux and distillation possible depending on the configuration. A bottom discharge valve allows liquid or solid material to be released from below.
The unit is suited to pilot-scale synthesis and laboratory process work where temperature-controlled stirring and a transparent reaction vessel are required.
Material is held in the closed glass vessel and stirred at a set speed while a circulating water or oil bath (or optional heating mantle) brings the contents to the target temperature. Reactions proceed under atmospheric or negative pressure, and finished product is drained through the bottom discharge valve.
