The S-150L is a double-layer (jacketed) glass reactor with a 150L reaction vessel and an interlayer volume of approximately 33L. The inner chamber holds the reaction solvent for stirred processing, while the jacket circulates a heat-transfer medium to control temperature.
Glass components are made from GG17 borosilicate for chemical and physical resistance, and the main supporting structure is stainless steel. The unit can run under normal or negative pressure and supports stirring, reflux, and distillation of reaction solutions at a set temperature.
It is intended for pilot-scale and production work in fine chemical processing, pharmaceutical research, and material synthesis.
The reaction solvent is placed in the inner glass chamber, and a heat-transfer fluid is circulated through the surrounding jacket. Connecting hot oil or hot water to the jacket drives heated reactions, while refrigerating fluid enables low-temperature work and tap water carries away reaction heat at ambient conditions. An AC motor provides frequency-controlled stirring, and PTFE sealing allows operation under vacuum down to -0.09 MPa.
