1 / 13The MTST F-5L is a 5-liter single-layer glass reactor built for stirred chemical reactions, reflux, and distillation in a laboratory setting. The borosilicate glass vessel pairs with a heating bath and a variable-speed stirrer for controlled processing of liquids and low- to moderate-viscosity mixtures.
Stirring is driven by a brushless AC induction motor with digital speed display, adjustable from 0 to 1000 rpm. A bottom discharge valve allows the reacted material to be drained directly from the vessel, and the wide bottom opening simplifies cleaning.
This unit suits small-scale research, process development, and extraction labs that need a compact reactor for reactions carried out under stirring at elevated temperatures.
Material is loaded into the glass reaction vessel and brought to a set temperature by the heating bath. A motor-driven stirring shaft mixes the contents at a selected speed, supporting reflux or distillation as required. On completion, the contents are drained through the PTFE bottom discharge valve.
