The MTST 2LB is a closed-loop extraction system constructed from SS304 stainless steel with tri-clamp connections throughout. It provides a 2 lb material capacity, positioning it between 1 lb and 5 lb systems for operators who need additional throughput.
The sealed closed-loop design captures and recovers solvent for reuse. The configuration includes a dewaxer column, molecular sieve filter dryer, and an aluminum alloy support shelf.
It is intended for licensed small to mid-scale processing operations and pairs with a recovery tank, vacuum pump, and chiller.
In a closed-loop system, solvent passes through the material column under a sealed, pressurized circuit, dissolves the target compounds, and is then routed for recovery and reuse rather than venting to atmosphere. The system is rated for operating pressures from 0 to 10 bar.
