The MTST BR-12N is a box-type muffle furnace that combines the control system and heating chamber in a single compact unit. It is rated to a maximum temperature of 1200°C with an operating temperature of 1100°C, and uses molybdenum resistance wire as the heating element.
The furnace lining is made from vacuum-formed high-purity alumina, which has low heat storage and supports heat retention. The outer shell uses a double-layer air-cooled structure to keep the exterior surface temperature low during operation.
This furnace is suited to laboratories at universities, research institutes, and industrial facilities for sintering, melting, and analyzing metal, non-metal, and compound materials.
The control system uses a 0.2-level intelligent instrument with PID regulation and a programmable heating curve of up to 51 segments. Once a heating and cooling profile is set, the furnace runs the cycle automatically. Sensor input and output are digitally corrected, and the design includes second-order digital filtering for stable measurement.
