The MTST R1020 is a 20L rotary evaporator built for mid- to high-volume solvent recovery, including ethanol stripping during winterization workflows. It pairs a 20L evaporating flask with a 10L receiving flask and a vertical double condenser.
The unit includes a stainless steel heated water bath rated at 4000W and a brushless 250W rotary motor with digital frequency-conversion stepless speed control. Automatic lifting moves the flask over a 0–190mm stroke.
It is intended for extraction and processing labs that need to recover solvent at scale before moving material to distillation. A recirculating chiller and vacuum pump are required to operate it and are not part of this unit.
The evaporating flask rotates within a heated stainless steel water bath while operating under vacuum, lowering the boiling point of the solvent so it vaporizes. Vapor passes through the vertical double condenser, where it is cooled and condensed into the 10L receiving flask.
