This package combines the MTST RE-201D rotary evaporator with a two-tap circulating vacuum pump and a refrigerated recirculating chiller, providing the core components needed for solvent evaporation and recovery in one set. The rotovap uses a 2L evaporating flask and a 1L receiving flask, with a stepless-speed rotating motor running from 0 to 120 r/min.
The heating bath is rated at 1200 W with intelligent digital temperature control from room temperature to 399°C and ±1°C accuracy. Glassware is high borosilicate, and sealing uses PTFE and fluoro rubber. Bath height is adjusted by manual lift over a 0–150 mm range.
The set is intended for laboratory use such as concentration and purification, particularly for materials that are sensitive to high temperatures. It runs on 110V/60Hz with a US plug (220V optional).
The evaporating flask rotates within the heated water or oil bath, spreading a thin film of liquid across the inner surface to enlarge the evaporation area. Under vacuum from the circulating pump, solvent vapor rises and is cooled in the vertical glass condenser, then collected in the receiving flask. The recirculating chiller supplies cold fluid to the condenser to support recovery.
